  5. Using @X0FTeleShoppe@X07 is simple, fast and fun! With TeleShopppe you may browse
  6. the items for sale. You can create quotes for comparison shopping, and of
  7. course you can purchase items via 4 different methods. (Providing the
  8. SYSOP supports these options).

  11. A description of each function follows:

  13. Main Menu
  14.  
  15. 1) @X0AList by Category -@X07
  16.  
  17.     a) This option lists item categories or however the sysop may define
  18.        them. To view a category, enter the number to the left of the
  19.        item.
  20.  
  21.     b) You may @X0Esearch@X07 for an item by entering "S". You will be asked for
  22.        the text words to search for. Each item in the database containing
  23.        the sort string will be displayed.
  24.  
  25.        1. Once a category is in the viewing mode, you may @X0EV)iew@X07 an items
  26.           extended description by pressing "V". You will be asked for
  27.           the number of the item. Once entered you will be shown the
  28.           extended description of the item if one exists. Items that contain
  29.           a (√) beside it have a extended description. Those that do not
  30.           have no additional information available.

  32.        2. You may mark an item for purchase (Flag) by entering that items
  33.           number. You will be asked for the quantity of the item. This
  34.           item may be edited from the main program.

  36.      c) If the categories listing contains over 45 listings, select 'B'
  37.         to return to the @X0EB)eginning@X07 of the list.

  39. 2) @X0AEdit marked items@X07
  40.  
  41.     a) By selecting this option you will be able to edit the items you
  42.        marked for purchase/quote.
  43.  
  44.        1. Upon entering , all items that are currently marked are
  45.           presented to the user for verification. You may keep or discard
  46.           the marked items by following the prompts.
  47.  
  48.        2. If there are no more items to be listed, pressing any key will
  49.           return you back to the main menu.

  51. 3) @X0AView marked items -@X07

  53.     a) By selecting this option you will be able to view the options you
  54.        have marked for purchase/qoute. No editing of items is allowed here.
  55.        This is for quick viewing only. The top of the screen informs you
  56.        that you are in VIEWING mode only.

  58. 4) @X0AShow invoice quote@X07
  59.  
  60.     a) By selecting this option you may view what your invoice will look
  61.        like once you purchase the items you selected. Note that this is
  62.        only a quote. Each individual retailer will set a limit as to how
  63.        many days the quote is good for. (NOTE also that tax and shipping
  64.        is not included).

  66. 5) @X0ADownload quoted invoice@X07

  68.     a) By selecting this option you will be able to download the quoted
  69.        invoice. You will be asked to enter which protocol you wish to use.
  70.        @X0BThe file name will be INV_(NODE NUMBER YOU ARE ON).TXT.@X07

  72.        Example. If you are on Node 2, Your quote would be contained in the
  73.        file:

  78.     a) By selecting this option you will be able to order your items by
  79.        either @X0ACREDIT CARD, COD, CHECK, or MONEY ORDER@X07 (According to how your
  80.        Sysop accepts payment).  To begin you will enter all of your
  81.        pertinent information. All personal data is kept in the online
  82.        database. However, for consumer safety, NO Credit Card information is
  83.        ever stored in the database. This information will be entered each
  84.        time you purchase items.

  86.         1. Select payment type
  87.  
  88.         2. Enter your personal information
  89.  
  90.         3. Select the method of shipping you desire. Shipping may or may not
  91.            be included. (Depending upon how this system is setup)
  92.  
  93.         4. Edit or View the selected marked items. You may quit at any
  94.            time.

  96.         5) Continue with purchase - By continuing with the purchase you
  97.            will be charged for ALL items you have marked for purchase.
  98.            (You will be shown the ACTUAL FINAL invoice before being asked
  99.            to confirm the order.)
